 My First Beads 4/07
I, Dianne Roof, have started a new endeavor here at BEAD WHIMSICAL.
I am learning to make my own lamp work beads! A big thank you to Professional Artist & Instructor Marilyn Pereza. I need more practice but you know what they say, "Practice makes perfect beads, right?" LOL

Still at practice but the good news is I have saved enough money to order my first kiln, Yippee!! In case you don't know, it is a vital part of making you very good quality beads that will last for a long time. I sure hope it gets here soon!!
My Mission at Bead Whimsical: Part I is to supply you with top quality jewelry that is "Inspirational and Whimsical". It will Always be something fun to wear!
Some "Bead Whimsical" Jewelry Designs will be a clear reminders of God our Father and Jesus Christ His Son. Other designs will be full of a Whole lot of Whimsy. Both design aspects are a part of who I am and I hope you'll think, "I got to have that!" know matter what design my heart and brain lead me put together.

Favorite-Mission; The Prussia's Family in Mexico!
My Mission at Bead Whimsical: Part II Is to support missions. This is not a tax deductible website, a fundraiser or anything of that kind. It is only me, Dianne Roof using a PORTION of my income from my jewelry designs to support my friends who are either part time , full time, or preparing to be full time mission workers. My current commitment is to our personal family friends, the Prusia Family and to students from our church who travel on short term mission trips during the summer. A portion of the profits from my sales will be donated to these missionaries to help fund their expenses. By making a purchase you are lending a hand. I legally cannot give you a receipt for a donation because I am not a tax exempt business.
* A CUTE STORY about the stick in some of the pictures in the BEAD WHIMSICAL JEWELRY DESIGNS PHOTO GALLERY. My oldest son Drake (11) is very much into mom's jewelry business. He is always trying think of ways to help. While on a fall hike with his father and little brother Noah (7) He found that stick and thought it would make a nice prop for photographing my jewelry. He wrapped it up in a gift bag, made me a birthday card and gave it to me for my birthday. How cute is that? Not to mention it looks good too!
